Case Law

Privacy can be referenced in many different fields of law. For example, in tort, privacy laws are enacted by the states. Criminal law will often reference a constitutional right to privacy. The federal and state governments have enacted laws related to childrens' online privacy, medical record privacy, and the privacy of student records.

An overview of many different privacy concerns can be found at Lawbrain.com (a project of Thomson Reuters FindLaw).
