Resources for Pride Month

The Pride Center is the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) resource center at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. The Pride Center strives to be a space for all members of the UT community to engage with and explore issues relating to gender and sexuality through events, programming, community space, and initiatives.

Lambda Law is a student organization dedicated to promoting diversity education and awareness, fellowship, and discussion in the UT Law community and the Knoxville area.

The LGBTQA+ Alumni Council is the official alumni group for LGBTQ and Allied University of Tennessee alumni.

In addition to organizing Knox County's yearly Pride Fest, Knox Pride is developing a community resource center with outreach, referrals, and resources to serve the community.

Curated resources from across campus to celebrate Pride month, including books, movies, podcasts, and awareness and educational events. Provideed by the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.

The Tennessee Equality Project conducts legislative lobbying for the equal rights of LGBTQ people in Tennessee, and the TEP Foundation provides educational and organizational programming on LGBTQ issues.

PFLAG is the extended family of the LGBTQ community. PFLAG is made up of LGBTQ individuals, family members, and allies.
PFLAG Nashville provides free support for parents, family, and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

Formed in 2010, the Tennessee Stonewall Bar Association provides support to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) lawyers working in Tennessee. The Tennessee Stonewall Bar Association is dedicated to promoting LGBT inclusion and civil equality both in Tennessee’s legal community and the state’s general population.

GLSEN Tennessee is a chapter of GLSEN, a national organization fighting for every student’s right to a safe, supportive education.
GLSEN Tennessee is a grassroots initiative, working locally to ensure safe schools for all students, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity.

ACLU Tennessee fights discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, working for fair treatment on the job and in schools, housing, public places and health care.
